One of the world's leading international law firms is seeking a Receptionist / Operations Assistant to join their business support team in Hamburg; providing first class service to all external and internal guests, visitors and employees, assist with office administration tasks and coordinate conferences.
With beautiful offices based centrally, my client provides industry-leading training, benefits and working environment. This role requires excellent business-professional communication skills in both German & English.
If you are coming from a front desk / receptionist / customer service role in high-end hospitality / hotel background, this will suit you if you wish to transfer your white-glove service skills to an office environment. It will also suit you if you have worked in a similar role in an office environment.
Key duties include:
- Meeting and greeting visitors, clients and lawyers
- Booking and coordination of conference rooms
- Ordering and organising catering and events
- Processing invoices
- Contact person for all external service providers
- Handling telephone calls and messages
- Answering and forwarding incoming email enquiries
- Administrative tasks and dealing with some facilities matters
To be considered for this role, you must have/be:
- Successfully completed training in the luxury hotel or restaurant industry, or in a comparable role in an office environment
- Confident advanced communication skills in German & English
- Motivated to work Monday - Friday in a corporate office environment, on reception and arranging conferences, presenting 5* service at all times
- Possess a high sense of responsibility
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with resilience
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Warm and friendly manner
- Strong teamwork mentality
