    Finance Manager (part-time) - Frankfurt

My client, a boutique Investment Bank with a global presence, is looking for a motivated and detail-driven finance professional to strengthen their team and help shape the future of their finance department.

     

    Your Responsibilities

    In this role, you will play a key part in the finance function, taking ownership and driving excellence across a wide range of activities:

    • Take charge of operational accounting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes
    • Manage day-to-day financial accounting using DATEV, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
    • Oversee expense management (e.g. travel costs and reimbursements), ensuring compliance with internal policies and approval workflows
    • Prepare insightful financial reports and analyses to support business decisions
    • Deliver regular and ad hoc reports for management, providing clear financial visibility
    • Support the preparation of annual financial statements (HGB) in close collaboration with external tax advisors
    • Act as a key liaison with tax advisors, auditors, financial service providers, and banks
    • Continuously improve and streamline accounting, finance, and tax processes
    • Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in cooperation with Legal
    • Serve as a trusted point of contact for external finance stakeholders

     

    What You Bring

    You are a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the following attributes:

    • A degree in a relevant field, comparable qualification, or strong practical experience in finance/accounting
    • Strong financial reporting skills
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in managing multiple stakeholders
    • A growth mindset with a genuine desire to learn and develop
    • A hands-on, can-do attitude combined with strong organizational skills
    • Analytical thinking, structured approach, and an entrepreneurial mindset
    • Business-fluent German and good English skills
    • Solid experience with DATEV and MS Office
